The most disturbing crime between loved ones you've heard of

The most disturbing crime between loved ones you've heard of Cody Johnson was a 25-year-old country boy who loved cars and the wilderness. He was looking for a church-oriented woman he could share his life with. He met the tall, pretty brunette, Jordan Graham and they began dating. You would have never guessed they had issues if you saw their smiling pictures on Facebook. They presented a great front and Cody didn’t grasp the depth of their problems. Cody was head over heels in love with Jordan. He cooked for her and brought her gifts and gave her tons of much attention. A week after meeting Jordan, Cody told his mother, “I think I met the woman I’m going to marry.” However, Cody’s friends grew concerned as the relationship seemed one-sided. They’d never seen the two of them kiss or hold hands. Jordan was cold and distant. Jordan was extremely religious and wanted to wait until marriage before having sex. Cody was fine with it. But he could hardly get her to kiss him. She reassured...

A SERIAL KILLER OF A SPECIAL KIND

A SERIAL KILLER OF A SPECIAL KIND Pedro Rodrigues Filho, known as Pedrinho Matador (Pedrino the Assassin), was a special serial killer. Despite being sentenced to 400 years in prison for killing 71 people, even though he was credited with over 100 murders, he was very popular with the people. As Brazilian writer and criminologist Ilana Casoy stated: “Pedrinho is not a vigilante, but an avenger, and that ends up fascinating people. But this is a distorted vision. The problem is that Pedrinho’s victims, just like him, could not afford a lawyer.” But could we really call him an avenger? No. And the answer was in one of his many tattoos, specifically in a phrase on his left arm: “I kill for pleasure.” In fact, although his victims were, for the most part, drug dealers, rapists and pedophiles, or at least alleged ones, he did not always follow this rule. In some cases, for example, he killed an inmate because "he did not think like him" or a cellmate because "he snored too mu...

The creepiest unexplained event you know of

The creepiest unexplained event you know of The Wednesday phone calls Dorothy Jane Scott disappeared on May 28th, 1980. She had lived with her 4-year-old son and her aunt in Stanton, a town 20-minute drive away from Anaheim, California. For months before her disappearance, Dorothy had received phone calls from an unidentified male stalker. The stalker would recount the precise details of Dorothy’s day and profess his love and devotion for her. Some phone calls were angry, vengeful, and downright frightening. Once he threatened to “cut [her] up into bits so no one will ever find [her].” She confided in her mother, Vera. They did not report the stalking to law enforcement. Dorothy contemplated getting a gun but opted for a karate class instead. On the day of her vanishing, Dorothy had a meeting after work. One of the colleagues at the meeting appeared unwell. Dorothy and one other female colleague volunteered to take him to the UC Irvine Medical Center. After the ill colleague was ...

Belarusian boy Gena Muraviev with Polish Halina Gruszczyński, his adoptive mother, around 1947

Belarusian boy Gena Muraviev with Polish Halina Gruszczyński, his adoptive mother, around 1947. The outbreak of World War II found 24-year-old Zinaida, her husband Pavel and their five-month-old son Gena in the village of Novka, near Vitebsk, Belarus. The husband was mobilized, but the mother and child remained in the village. In 1943, the Nazis, hunting partisans, organized a raid and captured Zinaida and her son, both of whom were sent to Auschwitz. From that moment on, they were deprived of names and surnames, the Nazis called them only by their tattooed numbers: Zinaida - 62105, Gena - 149850. Zinaida memorized her son's number. Soon after they were moved to different areas and lost contact. When the Soviet troops liberated Auschwitz, only children and very sick prisoners remained there, unable to move to another camp. The Bergen-Belsen concentration camp where Zinaida was held was liberated by Anglo-Canadian troops in April. Sick and exhausted, Zinaida returned to her hometown...

The cruellest way anyone has ever been executed in the history of the United States

Jimmy Price/Columbia RecordGeorge Stinney Jr. (second from right) was likely coerced into confessing to the murder of two white girls. On June 16, 1944, George Stinney Jr. walked into the execution chamber at the South Carolina State Penitentiary in Columbia. He had a Bible tucked under his arm. He weighed in at just 95 pounds, he was dressed in a loose-fitting striped jumpsuit. Strapped into an adult-size electric chair, he was so small that the state electrician struggled to adjust an electrode to his right leg. A mask that was too big for him was placed over his face. He had to sit on a book because of his size. An assistant captain asked Stinney if he had any last words. Stinney replied, “No sir.” The prison doctor prodded, “You don’t want to say anything about what you did?” Again, Stinney replied, “No sir.” Stoney denied he was guilty of the crime to his last breath. When officials turned on the switch, 2,400 volts surged through Stinney’s body, causing the mask to slip of...

Here are some of the last known pictures of celebrities and notable people which are quite disturbing

Here are some of the last known pictures of celebrities and notable people which are quite disturbing: •  Anton Yelchin, 27 Anton Yelchin was known for starring in the  Star Trek  movies. Just a few weeks ago, one of his Star Treks movies was playing on TV and my heart suddenly wrenched when his character appeared on screen. This photo was the last selfie Yelchin posted three days before his death. On June 19th, 2016, he died in a horrific car accident just outside his home, where his Jeep rolled backwards and crashed, pinning and trapping him between a mailbox and a fence. His lungs were crushed, and experts say Yelchin died within one minute of impact. ‐--------------------------------------------------------- •  Chris Benoit, 42 Chris Benoit was a professional wrestler who worked for several associations, including WWE. For some time, he used to be my favorite of the superstars; his moves were impressive and he achieved a good numbe...

The creepiest/most terrifying unsolved mysteries

The creepiest/most terrifying unsolved mysteries  I have been living in Byron Bay, for 15 years. On the 31st of May 2019, Theo Hayez, a belgian backpaker, was last seen outside the Cheeky Monkey, a popular night-club in town. He vanished into the night. Few months later, they managed to trace his phone signal to a secluded beach to the South of town. Tallow Beach. That is a very unusual path. For someone that is unfamiliar with the location, the track that connects town to Tallow beach is virtually impossible to find, especially in the middle of the night. Maybe he was not alone, or maybe his phone was already in the possession of someone else. The signal of his mobile phone stops at Cozy Corner. This spot has a very strong rip current. Whatever ends in the water here, in minutes will be dragged outside the cape. 5 months later, Thea Liddle disappeared. Ms Liddle, 42, was last seen in the Mooball area in northern NSW on October 31, 2019. Coincidence on the similarity of the name as...

The deadliest mobster

The deadliest mobster Some of the deadliest mobsters include: Gregory Scarpa was such a prolific killer that his associates nicknamed him the “Grim Reaper.” Scarpa was accused of more than 50 murders. Anthony Casso was nicknamed “Gaspipe” after his father’s favorite murder weapon. Casso was accused of killing at least 36 people. Joseph Barboza was nicknamed “The Animal” after he chewed a man’s cheek off! The Animal was accused of at least 26 murders. “Machine Gun” Jack McGurn was suspected of masterminding the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre for “Scarface” Al Capone in 1929. McGurn’s murder weapon of choice was a Tommy Gun. But McGurn got off because he had a “Blonde Alibi” in the form of his girlfriend Louise Rolfe, who later became his wife. McGurn was murdered on the seventh anniversary of the massacre, on Valentine’s Day in 1936. Was it a revenge killing? Sammy “The Bull” Gravano confessed to 19 murders when he became a witness against the Gambino crime famil...

The famous TV show Bonanza first aired in the U.S. in September 1959

The famous TV show Bonanza first aired in the U.S. in September 1959. It was one of the first shows filmed in color. In the beginning, it was sponsored by the TV company R.C.A., who used the show to promote their new color televisions. The message was clear: Buy a new TV and watch Bonanza in color. At first, the show didn’t do well in the ratings. In its first year, it was ranked number 45. The next year, it moved up to number 17. But then, it found success. It moved to a Sunday night time slot, and the ratings soared, reaching number 2. For the next nine years, Bonanza stayed in the top 5. By its sixth season, it reached number 1. The actors were paid $10,000 per episode by then, and there were even big money-making deals with products related to the show. The show's success was thanks to the chemistry between the main characters: the father, Ben, the smart and serious Adam, the young and hot-tempered Little Joe, and, most importantly, Hoss, played by Dan Blocker. Hoss ...

The Incredible Story of Jean Hilliard

The Incredible Story of Jean Hilliard On the night of December 20, 1980, 19-year-old Jean Hilliard's car ended up stuck in a ditch. Given the late hour, the freezing cold of Minnesota, and the isolated road, she tried to walk to get help. She was found in the morning in the yard of a local cattle rancher, completely frozen and stiff as a log. According to her story and what she remembers, she had walked a few miles and was exhausted by the time she saw the house. The last thing she remembers is being almost to the door and then everything went black. The woman was left outside in the yard, exposed to temperatures of over -20 degrees for more than six hours. When the man who lived there came out and saw her on the ground, he said she was as hard as marble, but he noticed that air bubbles were forming in her nostrils. He loaded her into the car as if she were a tree trunk and took her to the hospital. In the emergency room, she was still so frozen that they couldn’t get an IV ...

The case of the disappearance of Dennis Martin is one of the most mysterious and disturbing in the history of the United States and, after more than 50 years, an answer has still not been found

The case of the disappearance of Dennis Martin is one of the most mysterious and disturbing in the history of the United States and, after more than 50 years, an answer has still not been found It all began in the summer of 1969, in the Great Smocky Mountains National Park, at a point on the trail called Spence Field (on the border between Tennessee and North Carolina). Together with his brother, Dennis (7 years old) was with his parents in a wooded clearing and the latter started talking to other hikers camped there. At that moment Dennis, his brother and two other children started playing hide and seek among the trees; the group separated and Dennis decided to get as far away as possible. After a few minutes, the parents called their children back but, of the four children who were playing, only three returned... Dennis had disappeared into thin air. The search for the child began but ended in nothing; Dennis had completely disappeared and neither his brother nor the ot...

Thomas Aikenhead was most ahead of their time

Thomas Aikenhead was most ahead of their time In 1697, a young Scottish student named Thomas Aikenhead made some rather shocking statements. Statements that, at the time, did not go over well at all. It wasn’t Aikenhead’s intention to shock people, mind you — he merely got drawn into an argument with fellow students at the University of Edinburgh. The discussion was one of a philosophical and religious nature. Some of Aikenhead’s fellow students were shocked by his irreligious stance. They reported him to the authorities for blasphemy. Here is the indictment, summing up what the young Scottish student said: The prisoner had repeatedly maintained, in conversation, that theology was a rhapsody of ill-invented nonsense, patched up partly of the moral doctrines of philosophers, and partly of poetical fictions and extravagant chimeras: That he ridiculed the holy scriptures, calling the Old Testament Ezra's fables, in profane allusion to Esop's Fables; That he railed ...

Jeanette Maples was murder

Jeanette Maples was a 16-year-old girl living in Eugene, Oregon. She had attended Cascade Middle School starting in 2006 and was known for her deep love of reading. In 2008, after finishing eighth grade, she became a home-schooled student registered with the Lane Education Service District. She lived with her mother, Angela McAnulty, and Angela’s husband, Richard McAnulty. Just before 8 p.m. on December 9, 2009, police and paramedics were called to their home on the 150 block of Howard Avenue. Inside, they found Jeanette unconscious and badly injured in the bathtub. Angela told them that Jeanette had been sleeping in the living room when she suddenly stopped breathing. Jeanette was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, but she was declared dead shortly after arriving. When medical staff first saw her, it was clear she had suffered from long-term abuse and extreme malnutrition. Dr. Daniel Davis, the pathologist who examined her, said Jeanette had been harmed ...

A simple flaw in a perfect crime

On December 16, 2000, which happened to be his 6th wedding anniversary, he went out to pursue his hobby. Promised his wife he’d be back in time for the celebration, he never returned. Search and rescue team found his boat and shotgun the next day, but he was nowhere to be seen. Initial reactions were that he may have drowned, but his body could not be found. Since the lake inhabited alligators, the blame was on cold-blooded animals. It was assumed that he fell off his boat and was eaten by the gators. Mike remained on the ‘missing list’ though. Six months later his waders, torch, hunting license and safety jacket were found floating in the lake. On his wife Denise’s request, he was declared “dead by accidental drowning.” She married another man, Brian Winchester, in December 2005. He was Mike’s high school friend and an Insurance agent. Thousands of letters from Mike’s mom and the case was reopened. She just didn’t feel her son had disappeared and was eaten by the gators. By then...
