ORIGINALLY, HOOPER WAS MEANT TO DIE

ORIGINALLY, HOOPER WAS MEANT TO DIE  When the shark attacks Hooper's cage, there's live footage of a real Great White with a rope hanging from its mouth. This shark's mouth is clearly much smaller than the shark's mouth when it attacks the boat moments later. These scenes were filmed by noted shark photographers Ron Taylor and Valerie Taylor with the help of shark expert Rodney Fox specifically for the movie.  Because the Great White sharks they filmed would be smaller than the mechanical shark in the movie, they constructed a smaller version of Hooper's shark cage. Inside the cage they alternately used a small mannequin or a little person. One of the sharks they attracted got caught in the cage's cables and tore it apart trying to escape. The footage was so good that they changed the script to reflect the destroyed cage and Hooper escaping by hiding on the ocean floor. However, the small person used in the scene refused to go back in the miniature cage, wh...

Kelly Cochran-The Twisted Lover

When Kelly Cochran's husband learned of her unfaithfulness, he had one task for her- to get rid of her boyfriend. They came up with a plan; she is to entice her boyfriend to their home with the promise of sex and then he would blow the guy's brains out.

Christopher Regan, Kelly Cochran's coworker and fling, was fatally taken off surprise. When Jason Cochran materialized from the shadows to shoot him dead at close range with a.22 rifle, he was in the middle of coitus. Later, Kelly Cochran handed her husband a buzz saw so he could cut him into pieces.

Kelly Cochran’s Unstable Marriage

Kelly and Jason Cochran were high school sweethearts and neighbors who were both born and raised in Merrillville, Indiana. After Kelly Cochran finished from high school in 2002, they got married and made a lifelong vow to kill anyone they may cheat on. They were so in love with one another.

Jason Cochran put in ten years of arduous physical labor maintaining swimming pools until his back gave up. Even though his wife made a valiant effort to pay the bills, they kept accruing debt. In 2013, the pair left the situation behind and relocated to Caspian, Michigan, hoping that Jason's debilitating pain might be relieved by legal marijuana.

Kelly and Jason were high school lovers

Kelly Cochran met Christopher Regan while working at a business that produced parts for naval ships. He was a former Air Force officer and a native of Detroit; despite being 20 years apart in age, he and Cochran grew close and fell in love.

Regan had no idea Kelly had argued with her husband the night before he was invited to spend the night on October 14, 2014. Cochran brought him over and had sex with him before her husband shot him in the head.

Ten days later, Regan was declared missing, but the Cochrans had already thrown his body parts in the woods. They packed his car outside of town but didn't realize there was a note in the car that detailed the direction to their house.

Christopher and his lover, Terri O’Donnell who he was cheating on

Kelly and Jason Cochran were visited by police, who observed that Kelly was completely at ease and that Jason Cochran was uncomfortable. Later, they interrogated them one by one. Although Kelly acknowledged having an affair with Regan, she insisted that her marriage to her husband was open. Jason, in contrast, exhibited signs of annoyance at her cheating.

The FBI searched the Cochrans' home in March 2015, which caused the terrified couple to flee the area for Hobart, Indiana, even though the Cochrans had been able to destroy all evidence of their crimes and the case had gone cold, on February 20, 2016, Cochran killed her husband.

The Arrest of Kelly Cochran

The medical team found Jason Cochran unconscious when they got to the Mississippi Street home, and Kelly apparently caused trouble as they tried to revive him.

The Emergency medical team pronounced him dead of an overdose — She had intentionally overdosed him before smothering him.

Days later, she held a memorial service and called Jason's passing "the toughest thing I will ever have to live with." On April 26, she left Indiana without telling anybody, and when the Hobart Medical Examiner discovered Jason had died of asphyxiation, she was declared a wanted person.

Authorities accused her of murder, home invasion, conspiracy to commit disinterment and mutilation of remains, hiding a person's death, and lying to a police officer. Cochran foolishly continued to text detectives while she was on the run.

They merely followed her phone's location to Wingo, Kentucky, where she was arrested on April 29. Finally, Cochran directed police to the murder weapon and Regan's remains.

Kelly Cochran in court

According to testimony at Kelly Cochran's trial, "she considered killing Jason instead of Chris." "The one good thing I had in my life," she thought he had slain, and she said, "I still detest him, and yes, it was revenge. I made the score equal.

She received an additional 65 years in April 2018 for murdering her husband while still serving a life sentence for Regan's passing.

In the end, Kelly Cochran's horror deeds become clearer when she was behind bars. She made further confessions which made her friends and neighbors suspect they had eaten Christopher Regan's roasted remains at a BBQ thrown by the Cochran around the time Regan was missing.

The end!

A group of prisoners documented the medical experimentations that German doctors were performing on them.

This photo was taken secretly inside the Ravensbrück concentration camp. A group of prisoners documented the medical experimentations that German doctors were performing on them. Joanna Szydłowska traded her bread to another prisoner for a camera. She was one of 74 Polish women subjected to cruel experiments, including unnecessary surgeries.  Doctors cut open some women's legs and intentionally infected them to try to simulate battlefield wounds. Some of the women were given no medication when they became desperately ill. Ravensbrück was liberated on this day in 1945 after most prisoners had been evacuated from the camp. Some of the experimentation victims testified at trials after the war. The photos they took were part of the evidence. Continue reading  #OTD #OnThisDayinHistory #Holocaust

In the fall of 1944, ten-year-old Thomas Buergenthal found himself all alone in Auschwitz, destined for the gas chamber

In the fall of 1944, ten-year-old Thomas Buergenthal found himself all alone in Auschwitz, destined for the gas chamber. Thomas had already survived the Kielce ghetto and a forced labor camp by the time German authorities deported him and his parents to Auschwitz in August 1944. Typically, children were taken on arrival and murdered in the gas chambers, but, because there was no selection when Thomas and his family arrived there, he managed to survive. His mother was taken to the women's section of the camp, but Thomas and his father remained together. However, Thomas remained in grave danger. The SS guards regularly selected prisoners to be murdered in the gas chambers and as a child Thomas stood out. While he had survived a number of selections by hiding, this time, Thomas had been caught. "They saw me as a child, and they motioned me to go one way, and my father go the other way," Thomas remembered. "And that's the last I saw of ... my father." Thomas and...
