In May 2020, Eleanor Williams made a post on Facebook claiming that she had been gang-rậped by Asian men in her small town of Barrow, England.
She also posted pictures of herself showing one of her eyes severely swollen, her legs and stomach covered in bruises, and the tip of her little finger nearly severed.
People went crazy protesting against Asian men in the small town. Funds were raised, and groups were formed to fight for justice.
Asian business owners in the area were met with extreme hatred, and three of them even attempted to ǩ-ill themselves.
Eleanor claimed that the Asian business owners operated a s-x trafficking gang, and she even provided a list of other victims.
When police began investigating the list, they were baffled when none of the supposed victims corroborated Eleanor's claims. It was then that investigators realized that all of her accusations were fabricated. She was ultimately sentenced to 8.5 years in prison. Continue reading
