Alaskan Avenger

The man in picture got the nickname 'The Alaskan Avenger' after hunting down sex offenders, pedophiles and beating them to pulp after robbing them.

His name is Jason Vuckovich. He was abused sexually and physically as a kid by his stepfather Larry Lee.

His parents were dedicated Christians. His horror and confusion grew tenfold when his stepfather started using late-night prayer sessions to abuse him.

Larry was arrested and charged with abuse of minor including Jason and his half brother Joel but was later released, he never served any jail time and the abuse continued.

When Jason turned 16 he ran away from home along with Joel.

He claimed that he felt an “overwhelming desire to act" so he used the Alaskan sex offender registry to track down criminals. In 2016, he broke into their homes, beat them brutally with a hammer and robbed them.

Soon he was arrested and sentenced to 28 years in prison. He agrees that what he did was wrong and that vigilantes have no place in our society. He isn't apologising for what he did but for his revenge that messed up his life. He wants his story to discourage anyone who is considering "Vigilante Justice".

He's serving the jail time that his step father really should.

Joanna Szydłowska traded her bread to another prisoner for a camera. She was one of 74 Polish women subjected to cruel experiments, including unnecessary surgeries. Doctors cut open some women's legs and intentionally infected them to try to simulate battlefield wounds. Some of the women were given no medication when they became desperately ill. Ravensbrück was liberated on this day in 1945 after most prisoners had been evacuated from the camp. Some of the experimentation victims testified at trials after the war. That same day, her body was examined. It was found that she had suffered serious injuries to her head and neck before being strangled to death about 48 hours before her body was found. Despite many years of hard work by investigators, the identity of the Buckskin Girl remained unknown for over 30 years. On April 9, 2018, the Miami Valley Regional Crime Laboratory announced that they had identified the woman as 21-year-old Marcia Lenore King from Little Rock, Arkansas. Marcia had last been seen by her family in 1980. Although she wasn’t officially reported missing, her family had kept searching for her. The identification was made possible by detailed DNA testing. Klaus Barbie had no regrets about sending thousands to their deaths. He personally tortured members of the French resistance and was responsible for the deportation of thousands of Jews from German-occupied France. As head of a local office of the Gestapo, the Nazis' political police force, Barbie made a name for himself as the "Butcher of Lyon." In 1944, he learned that 44 Jewish children were being sheltered in a nearby village. He had the children arrested and sent them to Auschwitz. None survived. Years after the war, and after escaping to South America, Barbie was captured and tried for crimes against humanity.
